Then an exclusive hydro-blast rinse & sandblasting procedure on internal and external parts, followed by proprietary shot-enticed deep cleaning, sets the standard for manual transmission remanufacturing.

Transmission Locator’s remanufactured transmissions are rebuilt to exceed OEM standards. This includes fully remanufactured torque converters tested for lock-up, concentricity, leaks, and balance. Each remanufactured unit features a new valve body with system correction and recalibration kits, and all internal components are replaced or re-machined to original specs and vacuum-tested for optimal functionality.

Transmission Locator covers all shipping expenses for returning your old part to us, ensuring you incur no charges. However, initiating the core return process is your responsibility, but we've made it straightforward for you. We strive to keep our prices competitive, which is why we need to get the old part back. We do not charge an upfront core fee, giving you the flexibility to schedule your core return within 30 days of receiving your new part.

Please be aware that failing to return the core within the 30-day window will result in your warranty being voided. Moreover, returning the core after this period will incur a $50 processing fee.

Transmission Locator provides swift, flat-rate delivery to commercially zoned business addresses throughout the continental United States, excluding home-based businesses. It is expected that these locations are equipped to receive shipments without advance notice and can unload goods using a forklift directly from the truck. Note that deliveries to residential addresses or those requiring a liftgate will incur a $99 fee charged by the carrier.

Orders are generally delivered within 7 to 14 business days, not counting weekends and holidays. Deliveries to remote areas in Colorado, Utah, New York, Oregon, and California may face delays and additional charges. We are committed to dispatching orders as rapidly as possible, but please remember that all delivery timelines are approximate and not guaranteed.

Each remanufactured transmission is tested on a dynamometer before shipment. Occasionally, shipping may cause damage, so it's crucial to examine your items upon arrival and immediately report any issues to our customer service team.

Should there be any damage during transit, we are ready to work with you to resolve the issue promptly and ensure your satisfaction. We advise thoroughly checking your items before signing off on the delivery documents, as responsibility for the goods transfers to the recipient once signed for.

For personal vehicles equipped with gearboxes from the year 2000 or earlier, we provide a 36-month warranty that includes unlimited mileage for parts and labor. Labor costs are compensated at a $50/hour rate according to Mitchell standards. Commercial vehicle transmissions are warranted for either 18 months or up to 100,000 miles. Both continuously variable (CVT) and manual transmissions for these vehicles are also protected under a 36-month, unlimited mileage warranty.

Vehicles from 2001 onwards benefit from a more extended 60-month, unlimited mileage warranty covering both parts and labor for personal use. The same length of warranty applies to remanufactured transmissions in commercial vehicles, CVTs, and manual transmissions, all with unlimited mileage.

Our "No-Hassle" warranty policy ensures a straightforward experience. This warranty is linked to your vehicle’s VIN and remains valid if the vehicle is sold, with the coverage being fully transferable. Additionally, our warranty is valid nationwide, offering protection across the entire continental United States.

Should any issues arise with our remanufactured transmissions, we initiate an instant replacement service as soon as a warranty claim is made. We prioritize getting you back on the road quickly, covering the costs of parts and labor at a third-party certified shop at a rate of $50 per hour.
